Plaques Honoring David Anderson

“Speaking of my father, I want to introduce you to David Anderson. David is, among other things, a world class softball pitcher—that is, underhanded fastpitch softball. Many, many trophies and awards and championships and records and things like that were awarded to David and all that has been published in the newspapers. What I brought today are the plaques that were awarded to David after his career was over. One of them is for the North Carolina Amateur Softball Hall of Fame, one is for the Western North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame, and one is an an honorary mention in the South Carolina Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame. So, Dave was a magnificent pitcher. He was also a craftsman, an outdoorsman, and, just, amazing dad.”
